This year Yuki suggested we go and watch the balloons at Central Park. What a perfect location! Children and some adults climbed up the trees and looked like Christmas decorations all around the park. We found a nice hill, hoped over a fence and got a pretty decent view. Sonia danced, made gobble noises, sat on papa's shoulders, poked and scratched his nose, ears and puled his hair out;-)
Watch out a Belgian creature who lives in the woods is coming out... Smurf. Also known as Les Schtroumpfs.
All three of us with some special fish. I wish I knew more about this fish. I don't think it is Nemo.
I don't remember stopping at McDonald's lately but we used to ran by one in LA every morning. Yeah for a "Chief Happiness Officer" of the McDonald Corporation.
With our pans and pots packed, I was grateful when Janet Nelson (our stake president's wife) invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner. It was delish and most of all we enjoyed the company of our friends for the last time. Sonia shared a table with Ellen and Carson. We are missing you, Riegers!
We loved the food. I enjoyed a new twist on stuffing with corn bread, cranberries and pine nuts. Smoked turkey was a hit and Emily did an amazing job on all the delicious pies.
Needless to say we had hard time packing that night because our tummies were way too full ;-)Thank you for having us over!

Wasn't the parade fun? We didn't think to go to Central Park, but we got to see a bit of it from a distance. Happy Thanksgiving! :0)
Wow! We watched the parade on TV. The kids were so impressed with it and would be jealous to know you were there watching the balloons in person!
yay our house! Thanksgiving just isn't Thanksgiving without lots of friends over!
