Hidden Pond treasures

This morning we found a Hidden Pond where we can look at and touch snakes, frogs, stinks and geckos. It is not free like a Bean museum story time in Utah but it is only $2 so we can do it! Today we looked at a brown snake. Sonia dared to touch it. She was not afraid!
I took pictures and watched it slither across the floor. Then we observed a corn snake. We also went to look at the pond and discovered wild geese in the pond full of algae. We must bring some bread to feed them!
Mischa ran around, jumped in the pond, got dirty and chased some squirrels. We also found an excellent playground with lots and lots of fun climbing ladders.Sonia on the way up. Every playground is a bit different; it makes for so much more exploration fun.
Mama, Sonia is up!!
Twice a month we will venture out over here to explore new things. Next time we'll report on Roly Polys... I don't even know what they are ;-)
