This morning we got our snacks together and ran to a Grist Mill Park to make new friends and have some Fourth of July fun. We arrived a little bit late but still got to make a patriotic hat.
Sonia helped gluing on the red stripes and white stars.
She also made her own name tag... all by herself!
She was not all too happy to wear the hat for a long time. But she lasted through a short Patriotic Parade. And she loved her little flag and a wind mill. We joined the Parade and took some pictures for papa who is volunteering today.
Mischa had a chance to run around and he didn't mind a hat at all.
We are happy to be a part of the Tiny Friends Playground this summer and we can't wait until the next week's Health Picnic. This is our new friends and we will add Sonia to this flag soon!
Today we also took Mischa to see a Shar Pei doctor again. The doctor says Mischa is healing well and might just win an AKC show! His opinion on the eye is that there will be little or no scarring from the bite. Stitches are now out and a funky collar is history, Hooray!
Yesterday in our efforts to find some storage bins for Sonia's toys we stopped at TJ Max. I didn't find the bins but Sonia found two cool trucks.
She raced them all around the store and an old man asked me if I had a boy or a girl. Going way too fast! She would cry out: Watch Out!!
Then she fell down and that was an end to all fun.
